*Epta — Perhaps the island’s favorite brunch spot. Excellent coffee, creative dishes, and a relaxed courtyard that makes you want to stay a little longer.
*Armadillo — Specialty coffee, excellent brunch, and the atmosphere of a modern urban café right in the heart of Ermoupoli.
Jar — Perfect from morning coffee to evening drinks. A great spot for people watching and one of the liveliest places in town.
Pavone — An elegant space with great coffee, carefully made desserts, and a touch of Italian style.

*Tsipouradiko tis Myrsinis, Ermoupoli — A timeless classic by the port. Fresh seafood, delicious shared plates, and an authentic Syros atmosphere.
*Peri Tinos, Ermoupoli — Creative Greek cuisine by the sea, focusing on quality ingredients and fresh fish of the day.
*Tzitzikia sta Armirikia, Kini — A seaside taverna with classic Cycladic flavors and a view that becomes especially magical at sunset.
Apanochoritissa, Ano Syros — A traditional family-style restaurant tucked away in the alleys of Ano Syros, with a beautiful courtyard, views, and food that feels like a - Greek - Sunday family lunch.
Achladi, Achladi — A seaside fish tavern for those looking for fresh seafood, simplicity, and a true summer island feeling.
Plakostroto, San Michalis — A destination in itself. Traditional Greek cuisine, breathtaking views of the Aegean, and one of the most special sunsets on the island.
Allou Gialou, Kini — A romantic seaside setting, with a focus on seafood and sunset views.
Liako, Ermoupoli — Modern Greek cuisine with creative touches, beautifully presented dishes, and a more elevated approach.
Avant Garden, Ermoupoli — One of Syros’ most well-known restaurants. Fine dining without being pretentious, with a carefully curated menu and excellent execution.
Amvix, Ermoupoli — A timeless choice for pizza and pasta in Ermoupoli. Perfect when you want a break from Greek cuisine.
Laoutari Kafeneio, Ermoupoli — One of the locals’ favourite spots. A traditional meze restaurant with live rebetiko music evenings and an authentic Syros atmosphere.
Cocktails & Drinks
*Theosis, Ano Syros — The most atmospheric bar in Ano Syros. Great cocktails, good music, and a relaxed vibe.
Syrianon Bar, Ano Syros — A charming courtyard, beautiful views of Ermoupolis from above, and the perfect place for a drink after wandering through the narrow streets of Ano Syros.
Porte Galleria del Cocktail, Ermoupoli — Hidden among Ermoupoli’s neoclassical buildings. A great cocktail list and a lively atmosphere.
*Chalandriani, Ermoupoli — The perfect spot for a relaxed beer, wine, or tsipouro by the sea. One of the island’s most timeless waterfront spots, with beautiful views of the port.
Roga, Ermoupoli — A tiny wine bar with an excellent selection of labels that spills out onto Chiou Street once the market closes. Perhaps the best hidden gem in the heart of Ermoupoli.
*Kouchico — Its name means “tiny,” but don't let the size fool you. Originally an espresso bar, it's now known for serving some of the best cocktails in town.
Sweets
*Django Gelato — Handmade gelato with organic ingredients and unique flavours. Widely considered the best ice cream on the island.
Athimaritis Patisserie — Traditional sweets and flavours deeply connected with the island’s culinary history.
Sykoutris Loukoumia — A classic stop to try and take home Syros’ most famous sweet: traditional loukoumi and halvadopita.
